Who I work with

If you ever feel like your health is too complex for anyone to make sense of? You have found the right place for support.

Maybe you’ve got a mix of diagnoses that overlap, or you’re tired of having to explain how they connect. Perhaps you find it hard to explain your symptoms or have been dismissed by other professionals.

“You’re not too complex. You just haven’t had care that looks at the whole picture”.

The following is an example of some of the areas I work with. If you are not sure if I can work with you, please get in touch.

Many of my patients have a combination of several of these medical conditions alongside neurodivergence. Others are generally well but struggle with balanced eating due to combinations of sensory needs, interoceptive or executive functioning differences.

➡️ ADHD

Support with binge eating, grazing or irregular meals and adapting medical diets to work for your executive function.

➡️ Autistic Adults

Help with low food interest, ARFID, sensory overwhelm, interoceptive differences and adapting medical diets to work for your sensory and information needs.

➡️ Chronic illness

Tailored nutrition for ME/CFS, PoTS, Ehlers-Danlos, hypermobility or complex, undiagnosed symptoms. We’ll focus on consistent energy, managing symptom flare-ups and finding what’s realistic day to day. We will find a path through contradictory diets so that you can eat with clarity.

I am currently working with the EDS Support UK charity as part of their ‘Nourished’ campaign.

➡️ Mast cell activation and histamine intolerance

Support to understand triggers, manage symptoms and keep food variety and enjoyment wherever possible, without unnecessary restriction.

I am a member of the Mast Cell Action charity dietetic advisory panel.

➡️ Managing insulin resistance, and blood glucose

Reactive hypoglycaemia, type 2 diabetes, polycystic ovarian syndrome and pre diabetes.

Weight-neutral support to stabilise blood sugar and build confidence with food and movement if appropriate.

I have over 15 years of experience as a diabetes specialist dietitian, including remote glucose interpretation and GLP-1 lifestyle support.

➡️ Eating Disorders

I work with people who are struggling with concerns, shame, guilt and other difficult emotions around food.
You don’t need to be diagnosed or fit any criteria to work with me.

Many of my patients have a past history of an eating disorder and seek support when they are advised to follow a medical diet or want to follow a medical diet to manage other health conditions. In this case we can work to assess what is the safest way for you to proceed. Most medical diets can be significantly adjusted for your safety.

I am sorry I am not able to work with active anorexia or severe restriction, where a multi disciplinary team is best practice. I am also not able to work with tube feeding.
